Ugly as %# beat-up house in city limits. Technically livable, with (as far as we know) working plumbing, electric, bathroom and kitchen. (I'll turn on power and water this week for showings and inspections) but God-awful ugly, with many problems. .4 acres which is actually two lots (PINs 963936612100000 and 963936617000000). Buncombe county (with initial perc test) says they believe a 2 BR traditional septic will work on the second lot to allow a new build in addition to the rehab project, but final septic permitting for the additional lot is pending and may take up to 8 weeks due to inspector back-up, and to needing to remove a side building to finish the perc test. Current price is based on "close now and gamble on the results". However we can negotiate separate prices for each outcome, to close at the appropriate price once the answer comes in. I was excited to work on this one myself but we got sidetracked on a larger project, and won't be able to get to it for too long.
